Meet the Founders Dr. Helen Lusikyan A psychologist with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, post-college training in Substance Abuse and Addiction Treatment from UCLA, and professional development from Harvard, Dr. Helen brings a bold and progressive approach to HELP. Her expertise in substance abuse and addiction counseling adds depth to the organization’s programs, ensuring they address complex issues with empathy and precision. Beyond HELP, Dr. Helen is the founder and leader of multiple educational ventures, including Galaxy Kids Academy and Galaxy Medical College, where she serves as Associate Director. Her dedication to creating accessible educational programs reflects her passion for empowering others. Dr. Helen has successfully created and designed multiple facilities dedicated to health and wellness of various diverse patient populations. Her personal and professional expertise has led to the launch of many reputable institutions including her multi-dimensional business ventures in health and education. Arpi Lusikyan A creative entrepreneur and educator, Arpi complements HELP’s mission with her background in creative writing and a Master’s in Fine Arts from the New York Film Academy. With 15 years of business experience, founder of Serenity Kids Academy, co-owner of Arpel Medical Spa, and her role as Financial Aid Director at Galaxy Medical College, Arpi’s strategic insight and creativity play a pivotal role in HELP’s operations. Her passion for storytelling and education enriches HELP’s programs, ensuring they are engaging, relatable, and impactful. Arpi’s drive for innovation aligns seamlessly with HELP’s goal to inspire lasting change. Dr. Helen and Arpi’s vision for HELP is deeply rooted in their shared experiences and values. Growing up in an immigrant family that prioritized hard work, education, and resilience, the Lusikyan sisters witnessed the transformative power of opportunity and support.
